Lily is a ballet dancer, so we knew the most important elements for her bat mitzvah celebration would be the dance floor, flowers, and subtle, delicate touches. It all came together in this purple and sage garden on a lovely afternoon at the Garland Hotel.
The adults were seated at intimate round tables covered in crisp white linens featuring a mix of tall and low floral centerpieces, purple goblets, twinkling purple candles, and butterfly bread and butter plates.
The kids had their own dedicated area appropriately named “Lily’s Pad,” which featured communal tables and open seating. These long tables were adorned with a purple and sage floral linen, green water goblets, draped purple napkins, floating candles, and vibrant floral arrangements.
Lily’s garden theme was present in each detail, from the decorated menus, and signature cocktails list, to the stunning invitations with printed vellum gate folds and a wax seal by Occasion to Celebrate.
One of the unique touches we provided for this event was a flower-crown making station featuring an onsite florist, who made individual crowns from flowers that the guests handpicked themselves.
Shimmering in an elegant display, was Lily’s name in 3D resin which was embedded with dried flowers. Accompanying the resin display, were candles dedicated to loved ones, who came up to the table to light each one in a touching ceremony.
Lily got to showcase her dancing skills on her custom dance floor, which kicked off a fun-filled evening of dancing, dancing, and more dancing!
Working with Lily and her family was a treat, and we were thrilled with how this celebration turned out!
Mazel tov, Lily!
