This year we had the unique honor of planning a spectacular fundraising gala for the Guardians of Los Angeles Jewish Health. Our team orchestrated an evening that surpassed expectations, bringing over 650 real estate professionals and their guests to the Fairmont Century Plaza to support a noble cause.

We set the vintage tone early with Speakeasy the Band and 20s-style jazz dancers from Bling Divas. They brought a touch of old-school glam to the cocktail reception, where attendees schmoozed and networked, sipped cocktails, and snacked on the incredible kosher spread from Pat’s Catering.

Once inside the ballroom, guests were treated to meticulously coordinated floral arrangements from our trusted vendor Twigz Floral and Event Design, elegant lighting, and an inspiring program of speakers and awards – all of which were expertly emceed by comedian Elon Gold.

Our well-trained team of event pros worked tirelessly behind the scenes, managing the stage, directing the audio/visual program, and coordinating the volunteers and paddle raise, resulting in a seamless flow of events.

In an adjacent room, we created an after-party dance club called the Leeds Lounge (named after our honorees Fred and Ben Leeds). We designed a custom neon sign coupled with a gold shimmering wall for DJ Tim Hampton’s backdrop, which, along with his well-spun tunes and some dynamic lighting, created a sophisticated club experience. 

As event planners, seeing months of preparation culminate in such a successful evening is incredibly rewarding. We worked closely with the Guardians’ staff and event committee to plan and execute every aspect of the gala – from floor plan design to entertainment management and vendor booking, to budgeting and day-of coordination. 

We are profoundly grateful to the Guardians, as well as to each guest, sponsor, and donor whose generosity and commitment made this gala not only a success, but a testament to the power of collective philanthropy. We can’t wait until the next gala!
