We had an exellent time planning Andrew’s bar mitzvah! He and his family are huge soccer fans from Argentina, which gave us a clear direction for our design. Our biggest task was to transform a tennis court at the Garland Hotel into a fun and sporty soccer scene. The outcome was loved by all and we are proud of the work that went into this awesome transformation; possibly one of our favorite parties we’ve done!

The bar mitzvah service took place in the quaint garden, centered by a fountain, with vines and dazzling lit up trees throughout. The delightful touches of heartfelt speeches, soccer ball kippahs, and kids draped in Argentinian flags, made this a truly memorable event. 

The escort cards were displayed among fresh green grass and bright yellow florals framing an Argentinian soccer ball. Each guest received a pin of the Argentinian flag from this playful set up. The centerpieces followed suit with an Argentinian soccer ball settled in grass surrounded by gorgeous pops of yellow and white flowers. 

We had a mix of round and long tables covered in textured metallic blue linens coupled with sunny yellow napkins, encircled by sleek modern ghost chairs. Another very cool feature on the tables were custom acrylic light bars that lit up at night.

A personalized crest with the family’s last name was created and spread across the event. It could be spotted around the edges of the high top kids’ tables, in the ceremony’s program, on menus, around the bar, and framing the stage. The kid’s centerpieces were sleek and fun, with candy and soccer balls nestled in acrylic vessels, creating a bright and youthful setting.

The fun, sporty theme was highlighted throughout. There was an array of games, a magician roaming the crowd, a photo booth, and custom screen printed hats.

The show stopping stage backed with an LED screen wall set the tone of the night. Featuring a festive mix of videos and imagery, it helped get everyone in the party mood. With string lights overhead and dynamic stage lighting, guests were on the dance floor all night. We weren’t sure who had more fun…the kids or the adults. 

This was truly a celebration that captured everything Andrew and his family loves.
