The penthouse ballroom at Mr. C’s in Beverly Hills was the perfect location for this fun and elegant bat mitzvah. This space offers windows with nearly 360-degree views and the beautiful chandeliers create an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere. Flowers were all around, in the stunning centerpieces and on the pretty linens, creating the perfect romantic garden feel.
In the morning, after the bat mitzvah girl Eden finished leading a beautiful ceremony, guests attended a lovely garden Kiddish lunch in the courtyard of the temple. The kippot table was decorated with lush greenery, hydrangeas, and fresh blue and white floral linens. The hydrangeas and stunning linens were carried onto the outdoor tables where the guests dined.
At the evening party, the tables were romantic and elegant, with a mixture of stunning high and low floral centerpieces in shades of soft pinks and whites. The delicate floral linens were the perfect backdrop for the place settings, complete with pink chargers and soft pink napkins.
A ladybug was the sweet symbol of the day, a tribute to a special association the bat mitzvah mom had for her daughter. It was sprinkled throughout the event-on the place cards, pillows, swag, and cookies. Ladybug gobo lights fluttered amongst the guests as they boogied on the dance floor.
Guests were delighted by the decadence of the sushi bar. They were treated to henna tattoos and unique sketches by a talented artist. Hats and sweatshirts bearing the ladybug logo made for adorable swag! Guests of all ages were entertained by these unique touches that showed Eden’s sweet personality.
This gorgeous bat mitzvah took place in March of 2020, just before events came to a halt because of Covid-19. We look back on it fondly and are so grateful to have given this family and bat mitzvah girl the day of their dreams and a chance to be together with loved ones right before the world became so uncertain.
